Dare to Meet

Dare to Meet - Deep Democracy Lab

How facilitating within and around us helps to stand our ground and unlock unexpected potential

WHAT: Deep Democracy seminar for pioneers of all kinds.

WHERE: B.onfire studio, Wrangelstr. 65a, Hamburg- Hoheluft West.

WHEN: 30th January - 1st February, 2026

This training is part of our Deep Democracy series. The training includes concepts of process work, inner work practice, relationship work, group facilitation, and an open forum.

It is a space to slow down, turn inwardly, and explore how clarity, stability, and groundedness arise when we dare to meet conflict — within ourselves and around us — instead of avoiding it.

—---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In Process Work and Deep Democracy, conflict is not a disruption — it’s information. When we choose to engage with tensions, polarities, and avoided voices, new forms of awareness and leadership become possible.

Standing our ground is not about rigidity. It is about sensing the deeper currents that guide us through turbulence and help us act with presence and integrity. It is important than facilitating skills to unlock the potential within conflicts.

During this seminar, you will:

  • listen to body signals and inner feedback in moments of tension or confrontation

  • explore how your personal history shapes your experience of conflict, power, and powerlessness

  • discover elements of your life myth and why certain situations feel overwhelming

  • uncover your natural facilitation style by following your own process instead of fixed techniques

  • experience how escalation, misunderstanding, and friction can open unexpected pathways for dialogue and transformation

We will move fluidly between inner work, relationship dynamics, and group facilitation practice — learning not from predefined answers but from the live processes unfolding within and between us.

This space invites experimentation, curiosity, and courage.
A place to honour both vulnerability and strength as you step more fully into the art of facilitating conflict.

Ultimately, it is a journey into eldership — the capacity to stand beside yourself with compassion and recognise that every part of you, visible or hidden, belongs.

🌍 About Process Work / Deep Democracy

Process Work (also known as Deep Democracy) is a multidimensional approach to individuals, teams, and systems. It uncovers the developmental momentum hidden within polarities and conflicts. Developed by Arnold Mindell, it is a community-building and conflict-resolution model that works with all forms of information present in a system — sensory, emotional, relational, symbolic, systemic.

It can be used to coach individuals, facilitate teams and organisations, and support national and international processes across communities and borders.

“Process Work interventions enable individuals to understand their own lives, discover their potential, feel more interaction and aliveness, and live with greater creativity and connectedness.”
— Drs. Max and Ellen Schupbach, Deep Democracy Institute
